Spiritual Direction

Spirituality is the search for meaning and purpose in our lives. Spiritual Direction is sometimes called Spiritual counseling, Spiritual guidance or Spiritual companion. Spiritual direction is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Divine and to learn and grow in our own personal spirituality. In the process you share stories, reflect deeply on the experiences of your daily life and how you are experiencing spiritual issues. Your counselor listens, asks questions and provides appropriate activities to assist you in this process of reflection and growth. As you contemplate, you will gradually begin to recognize the presence and grace of a Higher Power in your life. You may come to realize that this Spirit is truly with you every day and everywhere. You will discover that the Spirit has been waiting for you to seek this closer relationship.

​Spiritual direction is not so much about being directed, but rather it is very much about being encouraged to draw closer to the spiritual center in your life. Your counselor is your companion on the journey.
