Meet LindaLinda Haley is the founder, owner and Executive Director of The Reiki Center, a comprehensive natural wellness center for people and their pets, based in Columbus, Ohio. Written as a fictionalized narrative, her book "Arrival of the Light Beings" is actually a semi-autobiographical chronicle of her own spiritual journey.
On New Year's Day 2000, Linda clearly heard a voice state "It's time." Hearing the same message three times eventually convinced her that she had not imagined it. Soon afterwards her life changed. Discovering Reiki's ability to reduce pain and stress, her fibromyalgia and other chronic issues were soon completely eliminated. After becoming certified as a Reiki practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher, The Reiki Center was founded in 2004 with a massage table out of the back of her car, providing treatments to clients in their own homes after her workday ended as a government employee. The first office for the Center was in the back of a converted garage. The Reiki Center relocated into a 1,000 sf facility in 2006; three subsequent expansions now have services and classes in a 2,700 sf facility. More than 35 independent practitioners and a dozen instructors now provide dozens of services and classes, including bodywork, energy therapies, intuitive services, animal wellness and youth services. In 2010, a free Reiki Clinic was started to provide free treatments to interested visitors. Prior to COVID, up to 60 clients received 15-20 minute sessions at no charge in a 2-hour period. In 2012, the program expanded to create Stone Soup Project, an innovative volunteer program for professional therapists and certified practitioners to offer free wellness services to underserved members of the community. All services are offered in association with accredited social service agencies, e.g. YWCA, Ronald McDonald House, the Veterans Association. The Reiki Center is recognized for its traditional Reiki classes, taught in the original Japanese template rather than the more common Western or Modern version. Her Book:
Arrival of the Light Beings
|
Haley's book highlights the importance of spiritual development and how to bring purpose and meaning into one's life. The book also discusses the relationship between the arrival of non-human visitors and the growing number of cataclysms (e.g. earthquakes, volcanoes, climate change) that are currently recorded across the globe. Most importantly, the book guides readers on how to "prepare your heart" for the shift in consciousness and awareness which will impact each person, but not understood by everyone.” |
