Somatic Release Breathwork

Somatic Release Breathwork™ helps to connect to the subconscious mind and bring awareness and insights not typically uncovered during traditional therapy. The breathwork utilizes a circular breathing pattern, rhythmic music, and light touch to help open blocked energy centers within the body. The breathwork helps to facilitate a cathartic release that helps to expel suppressed emotions, negative belief systems/identifications, memories, old patterns, and addictions.

When these stressors are released, it helps to free up space within the body. This helps to promote relaxation, clarity and helps to bring about a greater sense of joy and presence. Many people report feelings of euphoria and out-of-body experiences during the session, followed by elevated states of emotion such as gratitude and bliss upon completion.

Sessions are 90 minutes and can be done individually, within a group, or virtually.

Cost: 90-minute session, for 1-2 people: $144
3-5 people, $222
6 or more people, $333 base rate + $30 for each additional participant (maximum 12 people)

Contraindications to participating in a breathwork workshop include:

1. Epilepsy
   
2. Pregnancy
3. Detached Retina
4. Glaucoma
5. High Blood Pressure that is not controlled with medication
6. Cardiovascular Disease including but not limited to prior heart attack
7. Use of Prescription Blood Thinners such as Coumadin
8. Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years
9. History of Aneurysms in the immediate family
10. Strokes, TIAs, seizures, or other brain/neurological conditions or disease
11. Prior diagnosis by a health professional of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
12. Osteoporosis whereby intense movement could cause physical issues

NOTE: ASTHMA IS NOT A CONTRAINDICATION BUT WE ASK THAT YOU BRING YOUR INHALER TO THE WORKSHOP IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA
