Animal Reiki Class Offerings

This class is for people that have no previous Reiki training and will teach you how to bring energy in and how to give yourself and the animals around you, both pets and other animals effective and powerful Reiki sessions.

Animal Reiki is an energetic connection adapted to pets and other animals which offers pain and stress reduction techniques through light touch or the "beaming" of energy to an animal. Learning Animal Reiki gives you the ability to take a more active role in your pet's health and wellbeing. It's also beneficial to those who care for and work with animals professionally or in a volunteer capacity.

Four Attunements will be included to provide intuitive connection.

How energy is transmitted and flows
How to protect and clear while working with your pets and other animals

We offer two ways to study Animal Reiki:
At The Reiki Center where you will work with dogs, cats and other smaller pets or at The Medicine Horse Preservation Farm where you will work with horses. You will receive the same curriculum and personal attention, but the animals we focus on are different.

This class teaches those that already have taken Reiki to adapt that connection to use with animals. Animals are different from humans in many ways and this class helps you understand how to connect with animals more easily and provide a session that will impact the animal and their person in a powerful way. This class will add items to your toolbox to help your animal friends and your overall Reiki practice.

This class provides support for Reiki practitioners that want to learn Animal Reiki that are Reiki trained. One nature-based booster Attunement will be included to help with intuitive connection.

Your pets have energy, too, and Reiki can help them as much as it helps you! Join Animal Reiki Practitioner, Kaye Smith, as she discusses how learning Animal Reiki can help your pet by:

Physically easing pain and discomfort
Emotionally helping with anxiety and stress
Mentally helping them understand their surroundings and human expectations
Energetically and spiritually clearing stuck energies

This class will discuss the benefits of Animal Reiki, the pet chakra system and answer questions you may have about either.

This is a excellent class to attend if you want to know more about Animal Reiki before you sign up for the two day class.

Children's Animal Reiki

Parents, would your child like to learn Reiki and learn to how to use their skills to help the animals around them? This class will help your child learn to connect with Reiki, give themselves a Reiki treatment and learn to share Reiki with the pets around them and to the animals in their own back yard.

A maximum class size of 4 children will give each child a personalized experience as we talk about safety and connection while working with animals. We will work with friendly pets.

Please let the instructor know if your child is not comfortable with or is allergic to a specific type of pet.

Reiki and Animal Reiki for Teens (Ages 13-17)

Is your teen is sensitive, loves animals and is looking for a way to help the animals around them while learning to negotiate their world? This class can help them.

This class teaches teens how to work with Reiki energy and gives them an understanding of how energy and their energy system works. They can then use Reiki to work through things like anxiety, aches and pains, emotions and can help them feel more comfortable as they move through everyday life.

We add in the basics of safely using Reiki with the animals around them. This can help them to gain confidence and strengthen the bond between them and their pets.

One attunement is given to help with clearing and connection. After class, your teen will be able to perform a self-Reiki session and an Animal Reiki session and have a better understanding of how energy works.

A maximum class size of 4 students will give each student a personalized experience as we talk about safety and connection while working with animals. We will work with friendly pets.

All classes must be paid for in full at the time of registration.

The Reiki Center is handicapped accessible. Please notify The Reiki Center of any allergies or physical concerns prior to class.

Personal Children's Reiki or

Reiki and Animal Reiki Classes
Anyone who has taken any of our Reiki class knows the benefits of group work. Sometimes, it’s not possible or practical to take the class at the scheduled times or maybe you feel your child would learn best one-on-one.

If you would like your child to learn Reiki with just you and your instructor in a 2-3 hour class, please call us. You can even request a specific day for your own class!

Cancellation Policy:

We require at least 24-hours notice to cancel a class. If you fail to keep your scheduled reservation and do not cancel with at least 24-hours notice, you will be charged the full amount of the missed class(es).

The Reiki Center classes are traditionally 4 – 6 students, providing an opportunity for individualized instruction yet large enough to receive the benefit of sharing experiences with others. Should scheduled attendance not meet a minimum of 2 students at registration deadline, The Reiki Center reserves the right to cancel the class and offer another class date to students.
