Animal Reiki Class Offerings

Reiki for Pets
with Kaye Smith

No prerequisite

Reiki for Pets is an energetic connection adapted to pets and other animals which offers pain and stress reduction techniques through light touch or the "beaming" of energy to an animal. Learning Reiki for Pets gives you the ability to take a more active role in your pet's health and wellbeing. It's also beneficial to those who care for and work with animals professionally or in a volunteer capacity.

In this 16-hour class, you will learn how to understand and energetically work with your pet and the animals around you. This will strengthen your connection with your own animals as you learn to understand each other on a deeper level.

This class has been reformatted to now provide support for the pet owner who has no previous energy experience or training. Four Attunements will be included to provide intuitive connection for the new student or enhance the abilities of the energy worker

Classes are for anyone who has animal companions and wishes to energetically enhance their animal companions' lives.

This is a two-day, or four-evening class that will go in depth into many areas of energetically working with animals. 

Following are some of the things we will cover during class:

• Basics of Reiki Energy
• How energy is transmitted and flows
• How to protect and clear while working with your pets and other animals
• Working with your own energy and how to connect with your pets and other animals
• Easy ways to connect when working with your pets and other animals
• Treatment techniques to help assess and work with energy imbalances in animals
• How to include animals in your meditations
• The Animal Chakra system and how to re-balance it
• How to communicate with animals more effectively
• Conducting an effective Pet Reiki session
• Four nature-based Attunements
• Hands-on practice with pets

We now offer two ways to study Reiki for Pets!  You can join us at The Reiki Center where you will work with dogs, cats and other smaller pets or we are offering classes at The Medicine Horse Preservation Farm where you will be able to work with larger pets, horses.  You will receive the same curriculum and personal attention, but the animals we focus on are different.

Student Accommodations:
The Reiki Center is handicapped accessible. Please notify The Reiki Center of any allergies, food preferences or physical concerns prior to class.

Cancellation Policy:
We require at least 24-hours notice to cancel a class. If you fail to keep your scheduled reservation and do not cancel with at least 24-hours notice, you will be charged the full amount of the missed class(es).

The Reiki Center classes are traditionally 4 – 6 students, providing an opportunity for individualized instruction yet large enough to receive the benefit of sharing experiences with others. Should scheduled attendance not meet a minimum of 2 students at registration deadline, The Reiki Center reserves the right to cancel the class and offer another class date to students.

Introduction to Reiki for Pets

Your pets have energy, too, and Reiki can help them as much as it helps you! Join Reiki for Pets Practitioner, Kaye Smith, as she discusses how learning Reiki for Pets can help your pet by:

• Physically easing pain and discomfort
• Emotionally helping with anxiety and stress
• Mentally helping them understand their surroundings and human expectations
• Energetically and spiritually clearing stuck energies

This class will discuss the benefits of Reiki for Pets, the pet chakra system and answer questions you may have about either.

This is a excellent class to attend if you want to know more about Reiki for Pets before you sign up for the two day class.

Children’s Reiki for Pets
with Kaye Smith

Parents, would your child like to learn Reiki and learn to how to use their skills to help the animals around them? This class will help your child learn to connect with Reiki, give themselves a Reiki treatment and learn to share Reiki with the pets around them and to the animals in their own back yard.

A maximum class size of 4 children will give each child a personalized experience as we talk about safety and connection while working with animals. We will work with friendly pets.

Please let the instructor know if your child is not comfortable with or is allergic to a specific type of pet.

Reiki and Reiki for Pets Class for Teens (Ages 13-17)

If your teen is sensitive, loves animals and is looking for a way to help the animals around them while learning to negotiate their world, this class can help them.

This class teaches teens how to work with Reiki energy and gives them an understanding of how energy and their energy system works. They can then use Reiki to work through things like anxiety, aches and pains, emotions and can help them feel more comfortable as they move through everyday life.

We add in the basics of safely using Reiki with the animals around them. This can help them to gain confidence and strengthen the bond between them and their pets.

One attunement is given to help with clearing and connection. After class, your teen will be able to perform a self Reiki session and pet Reiki session and have a better understanding of how energy works.
