About The Animal Wellness Center

The Animal Wellness Center began as The Animal Reiki Center in 2008 at The Reiki Center, as an extension of the services offered to our human clients. The division continues to grow through private sessions, partnerships with area rescue agencies, visits to wellness fairs in the community, services and classes offered to promote animal health and wellness. In 2016, additional services were offered and the division was renamed The Animal Wellness Center.

In addition to in-house services we offer mobile pet services, appear at community events, such as Wagfest, offer lectures at expos, and provide Animal Reiki at shelters, and teach classes on Animal Reiki for pet parents, rescue workers, and Reiki practitioners.

Our pets are our most loyal
companions and best friends.

And sometimes, just like people, they have aching bodies, anxiety, fears and unacceptable behaviors. As a pet owner, you may have a sense that your companion isn’t feeling well, may be upset about something or would simply appreciate feeling special. But how can you best help?

The Reiki Center, central Ohio’s oldest and largest natural wellness center, offers therapies to benefit your favorite friend. In the Animal Wellness Center, your pet will receive energetic, restorative and relaxation services to help bring balance and wellness to his life. Working intuitively, your therapist will be able to respond to your pet’s unique needs through the use of Animal Reiki, Canine Massage or Animal CranioSacral Therapy.  You may also want to consider our specialized Intuitive Pet Problem Solving session to determine what the best way would be to assist your pet with their healing journey.

Our mission is to provide an energetic connection between animals and their human companions; to enhance the quality of life for your pet or animal companion through natural wellness; and provide Animal Reiki training for pet parents and animal health and rescue workers.

Our Director and Practitioner

Kaye Smith is the director of The Animal Wellness Center.

Kaye has completed Reiki Master and Animal Reiki training at The Reiki Center. All services are provided by Animal Wellness Practitioners trained by The Reiki Center, under the coordination of  Kaye Smith.

Mobile Services

If it isn’t possible to travel to the Center, mobile services are available.

Those who want to further enhance the bond with your pet would especially benefit by learning how to do energetic healing in Animal Reiki Classes, learning all the specialized techniques that pets enjoy receiving in the Center. There are now no prerequisites to take our Animal Reiki Class.

You may have already discovered the benefits of natural therapies in your own life.  Now you can help your pet to also find enhanced wellness.
