REIKI SHARES
Reiki practitioners of all levels of training, as well as all lineages, often enjoy the opportunity to participate in communal Reiki sessions known as “Shares.” The sessions give each person a chance to learn from one another as practitioners, as well as benefiting from multiple healing hands during the sessions. Reiki Shares are offered on the last Sunday of the month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Please arrive prior to 6 pm, as the Share begins promptly at 6 pm.

2012 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Starts February 15

Are you an Advanced or Master Practitioner who would like to further improve your skills? Perhaps you haven’t practiced for a while and you would like to refresh your abilities and basic information?

The 2012 Internship Program will provide the answers and personalized attention to help each Advanced or Master Level Practitioner build confidence and abilities. Students of all lineages and schools may apply, however, students who are not graduates of The Reiki Center will first demonstrate a basic knowledge consistent with most Reiki II schools, including understanding and actively using the primary Reiki symbols, components of the human biofield, and the Reiki Principles. 

The classes are divided into six modules, with a combination of classroom discussion and practitioner/client table experience. Course topics include:
How to Talk to Clients about Reiki, including Clinical Studies;
In-depth study of the Chakras and Biofield Energy;
The Treatment Process (client intake, practitioner etiquette and protocol);
Anatomy and Physiology review;
How to address the unexpected;
The importance of Reiki symbols and Distant Reiki;
Other modalities that enhance the Reiki experience (crystals, tuning forks, color therapy);
Insurance and legal aspects of practice

The Internship Program is facilitated by Center Director Linda Haley. Classes will be held on six consecutive Tuesdays from February 15 through March 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
 
A graduation ceremony and presentation of a certificate will celebrate the completion of your advanced training.
