In an ideal situation, the human body attracts and utilizes
health-giving properties from nutrition and the environment,
and then discards the unwanted elements.
Toxins are drawn naturally from
the body during the course of our
daily activities
with
little
or
no awareness
on
our part. These unwanted elements may include unprocessed
medications, tobacco, alcohol, food additives, industrial
pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, and environmental toxins,
e.g. vehicle
exhaust.
Occasionally the ideal balance is disrupted - perhaps by
illness, stress, excessive toxins accumulating in our tissues,
or the
inability
of
our kidneys,
colon, lymph
glands,
skin and
lungs
to completely clear unwanted elements. When this occurs,
we often lack energy or have a depressed immune system, have
breath or body odor, migraines or a general feeling of not feeling
well.
Detoxification restores the ideal balance through the release
of unwanted elements from your body and the restoration of wellness.
A number of techniques are now commercially available which offer
a detoxifying agent,
e.g.
detox teas, adhesive patches or intravenous chelation therapy.

THE TREATMENTS
The most effective and relaxing detoxification technique remains the
foot spa treatment. While resting your feet in a tub of warm
salted water, you'll watch in amazement as the clear tap water
slowly turns dark and thick
with released pollutants drawn from throughout your body. A
small appliance called the array initiates the process to draw
pollutants through the lymphatic system to be released in the
2,000 pores found on the bottom of each foot. Your 35-minute
session will leave you feeling energized and - as often noted
by participants - "lighter." Colors of the released toxins are
reported to correspond to various physiological activities or
organ activity.
Cost:
- Detox foot spa (35
min)……………………………….…$30
- Detox foot spa, seated,
with Reiki session……$60
- Detox foot spa with
studio Reiki session….……$80
