Individuals who want to further their understanding of Reiki
may become a Reiki practitioner after the completion of specialized
training. Classes are regularly offered by The
Reiki Center for the beginner, advanced and Master Level student.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & SCHEDULES
Beginner’s
Class (Reiki I):
Beginning students will learn how to use Reiki energy to
first work on your own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual
cleansing. With a focus on learning the hand positions and
how to draw and release energy, students will learn
- Benefits of Reiki
- History of Reiki
- Affirmation, Intentions
and Expectations
- Higher Sources of Assistance and Guidance
- How to identify
the aura, feeling and seeing the life force
energy, and the
purpose of each major chakra.
- Tapping into intuition
- Preparation of a client for Reiki
Four traditional Usui Reiki attunements will be individually
offered by the Master Teacher over the two-day course. A course
manual, binder, handouts, luncheon and snacks, and ample supervised
practice periods are included. With a comprehensive training
program and your Level I Certificate, the student will be prepared
to provide self-treatments, as well as provide pain and stress
relief to family members and friends.
Reiki I classes will be held at The Reiki Center, 1540 West
Fifth Avenue, Columbus from 9 am – 5 pm each day. Cost
for the Reiki I class is $150, payable to The Reiki Center. A
$50 deposit
must be received 10 days prior to the class, with final payment
on the day of the class.

Advanced Class
(Reiki II):
Reiki I practitioners who seek to continue their education
toward Advanced (Reiki II) certification may attend a
2-day course designed to significantly advance your Reiki
skills. Upon completion, you will be qualified to professionally
provide Reiki treatments. Reiki II classes are taught in the traditional Usui Shiki
Ryoho Reiki method, honoring the traditions and the symbols
which have been traced back thousands of years.
Students wishing to take Reiki II must be knowledgeable
about all areas of study included in The Reiki Center’s
Reiki I curriculum. Refresher classes are available for
review of Reiki I materials.
Included in your Advanced Reiki course are:
- Chakra Balancing Exercise to assist in
bringing your own body/mind/spirit into harmony
- Instruction
on the purpose and usage of three sacred symbols
- Distance
(remote) healing techniques and mental/emotional clearing
techniques.
- Advanced Treatment Guidelines to provide information
on working with clients.
- Setting up your own practice.
- Ethical considerations of Reiki
will be emphasized.
Four traditional Level II Attunements will be individually
presented by a Master Teacher to complete your Advanced Reiki
education.
Reiki II classes will be held at The Reiki Center, 1540 West
Fifth Avenue, Columbus from 9 am – 5 pm each day. Cost
for the Reiki II class is $175, payable to The Reiki Center.
A $50 deposit
must be received 10 days prior to the class, with final payment
on the day of the class. Fee includes course manual, binder,
handouts, luncheon and snacks for both days. Each day’s
class includes practice time for students to apply the information
learned during sessions.

Master Level Class (Reiki III):
The Master Level is only offered to students who have acquired
extensive skills and experience in the practice of Reiki in the
Usui Reiki traditions. Students must have demonstrated a commitment
to their own spiritual evolution and Reiki ideals. Students accepted
in Master Level Training must be knowledgeable about all areas
of study included in The Reiki Center’s Reiki I and Reiki
II curriculum, as well as having had considerable experience
in the delivery of Reiki treatments.
Two additional symbols are given to the student
who wishes to further extend his or her spiritual knowledge,
including those who wish to teach the practice to others. Two
Traditional Master Level Attunements are provided.
Two-day classes usually have 1 or 2 students
per class, providing maximum opportunity for discourse and self-discovery.
Classes cost $400 per student, and include the Master Practitioner
binder, handouts, luncheon and snacks for both days.

- Esoteric knowledge extending back
to Sanskrit and Tantric
- Buddhist teachings
- Opening the Kundalini
- How to offer the ritual of Attunements
- Advanced spiritual development

Student Accommodations
Please notify The Reiki Center of any allergies, food preferences
or physical concerns prior to class.
Cancellation Policy
Should you be unable to attend a class, The Reiki Center
will make every attempt to schedule you into a future class.
With at least a three day notice, your deposit will transfer
to the new class.
The Reiki Center classes are traditionally
4 – 6
students, providing an opportunity for individualized instruction
yet large enough to receive the benefit of sharing experiences
with others. Should scheduled attendance not meet a minimum
of 2 students at registration deadline, The Reiki Center
reserves the right to cancel the class and offer another
class date to students.
REIKI SHARES
Reiki practitioners of all levels
of training, as well as all lineages, often enjoy the
opportunity to participate in communal Reiki sessions
known
as “Shares.” The sessions give each person
a chance to learn from one another as practitioners,
as well
as benefiting
from multiple healing hands during the sessions.
