Practitioners at The Reiki Center are at Advanced or Master Level, with additional expertise in a wide variety of integrative healthcare modalities.

Linda Haley - Reiki Center, Columbus, Ohio Linda Haley, R.M.T., is a Reiki Master and founder of The Reiki Center. She has been trained in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing, following the guidelines attributed to Dr. Mikao Usui. Linda practices in The Reiki Center’s studio locations, as well as with a mobile unit for home and office appointments. As the Center’s Director, Linda also conducts classes for the Beginner, Advanced and Master Level Reiki student. She is also a CranioSacral practitioner, Quantum Touch practitioner, and skilled in the use of Egyptian Healing Rods, all of which are integrated for maximum client benefit. Linda is a member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners and the Midwest Institute of Usui Reiki Ryoho.

Samantha Matthews Samantha Matthews, Business Manager, worked in Sales and Marketing for over 15 years for companies including Dave & Busters, Champps Entertainment, Schmidt's Catering, Darby House and Monaco's Palace. She has experience in corporate and private event coordination, project management and multi-unit business management. In the area of energy work Samantha has studied the DeMartini Methods, Akashic Records and will soon be a certified Advanced Reiki practitioner. She also currently works with Support 4 Teachers, a family business based in Cleveland, to improve services to children with behavior problems.

Susan Baas - The Reiki Center Susan Baas is a Reiki Master, trained in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing. Her Reiki treatments may be complemented by the use of Solfeggio Tuning Forks and the Energy Vitality Technique, each of which assists in opening the energy centers and raising the energy field to optimum vitality. Susan is also a Reiki I, Animal Reiki, SOMA Energetics Sound Healing and Intership Instructor for The Reiki Center. Susan also has an interior design business which incorporates the ancient practice of Feng Shui, the placement and arrangement of space to achieve environmental harmony, peace and joy in our lives.

Reverend Jennifer Sieck attained her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and is trained as a Jungian focused Counselor. In addition to formal training Jennifer has also been a professional intuitive for many years. She has done alchemical energy balancing, counseling her clients about how to work with earth, air, fire and water, energies in nature to increase their happiness and wellbeing. She has done chakra work, archetypal tarot reading, and dream work with many types of clients. She is passionate about helping all types of clients learn to embrace and honor all parts of the Self as a divine gift from spirit. She is also a poet, jeweler, and singer.

Jennifer Ortman, M.S., R.M.T.
Animal Reiki Specialist
From an early age, Jennifer had a special and unusual relationship with animals of all species. Using various techniques, she is able to understand their thoughts, feelings and emotions. Jennifer became a Reiki practitioner in 2006 and works exclusively with animals. She has been employed in the pet and veterinary industries for more than 20 years, creating a rare partnership of veterinary clinical knowledge with professional energy work. Her special interests include flower essences, crystal therapy, and pet dietary consultations.

Nan Haefeli Kelly Bisson moved to the central Ohio area in 2006. Originally from Springfield, Vermont, she earned her Usui Reiki first and second degree levels there in 2004. Since becoming a staff member of The Reiki Center in 2008, she has added two additional modalities, Tuning Forks and Animal Reiki, to her training. Her hobbies include reading, writing, music, acting, cooking, cross-stitching, watching baseball and cuddling with her tiger-calico cat, Tabitha.

Martie Schoener Martie Schoener has been practicing and studying yoga since 2001, and was first introduced to yoga at a retreat center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Curious to see if yoga could assist her with stress reduction and quieting the mind, upon her return to Columbus, she immediately signed up for classes at a local studio. During the course of the next four years, Martie continued her journey of exploration by sampling an assortment of yoga styles, including Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Anusara, as well as taking classes from a variety of instructors. As her practice deepened, she noticed dramatic relief from the back pain which had plagued her for many years, as well as a growing sense of inner peace and stress relief. It was during a Todd Norian, Anusara workshop in 2005, when the realization hit her that yoga was her passion! In that moment, the inspiration came that one day, she would become a yoga instructor. To that end, she has completed workshops with yoga masters Ann Greene, Shalini LaTour, Ganesh Mohan, Saul David Raye, and Erich Schiffmann – plus additional workshops with Todd Norian.

In 2008, Martie completed her 200 hour level Teacher Training certification with Donna Winters in the Balanced Yoga University program. With the use of slowly flowing postures, Martie teaches a gentle, Hatha-mixed style that encourages proper alignment, allowing the breath to guide the movement. This offers the student the opportunity to open the heart and mind, to let go of notions about yourself and life, and connect with your inner treasure of wisdom and peace. Martie enjoys working with beginning level students, mixed level classes, as well as those with physical challenges.

Se'veer Reeves A Certified Hypnotherapist through the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists, the Edgar Cayce Institute for Research and Enlightenment, Se’veer Reeves’ ultimate goal is the healing of mind, body, and soul. She was awarded her Usui Master Level through The Reiki Center in 2009 and has been a nurse for the past ten years.

Don Haley

Every organization has one person who handles the details, makes sure that things are fixed, and generally helps to navigate the challenges of a 7 day a week operation. Don Haley, Director of Operations, greets visitors, changes light bulbs and does everything in between. When not helping a guest or practitioner, Don draws industrial blueprints as President of Draftsco, Inc.

Practitioners at The Reiki Center are highly skilled in the presentation of energy wellness services. They will not diagnose a medical condition, prescribe medication or otherwise offer health care options. Specific health care concerns should be directed to your personal physician.
